The Cardinals (7-1) hung 73 points on Ballard Memorial, and held a Bombers offense that had averaged 70 ppg over the previous two games, to just 19.

 

Speaking of 70+ point outbursts, Webster County (1-7) allowed 71 to Murray in Week 8. The Trojans have given up an average of 51 ppg this season. Many young Cardinals will see the field early in this one.

Only thing Mayfield has to concern themselves with is hoping no one gets injured. Running clock before second quarter starts.

Why is Webster County so awful? I know they've never been a football hotbed, but to get destroyed on a weekly basis seems unfathomable.
