I'll take any win when it comes to UK football...BIG game next week with South Carolina coming to town and Spurrier will have fun with this UK defense...Cats improve to 3-2.

The Cats defense gives up over 500 yards, but the Cats still come away with a win. Woodson with another solid game going 20-32 with 267 yards and 4 TD's with one interception. K. Burton with a huge game with 9 receptions for 124 yards and 2 TD's. The Cats go to 3-2, and have Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks coming to Lexington next weekend.

Same old UK Defense! Give up a 28-7 lead! Soft on Defense!

UK's defense was bad, but they never gave up the lead.

Im glad we don't have to play a fifth quarter!

I never thought that UK's defense could be as bad os the '05 team, but, obviously, I was worng. If this isn't the worse defense in division I, then I'd hate to see the worse. We should be allowed to play with 14 players at a time.

Thats because of the Offense.

I agree!

Well considering that CMU defense, (which is a Div. 1 school) gave up 45 points, then I would say their defense is worse. :D:p

The UK defense did come up with 4 turnovers which led to some short fields for the UK offense.

They gave up 45 points to a School that plays in the SEC! We should have beat these guys 45-7! The good teams beat you down on Defense and don't let you back up! Kentucky knocks there opposition down but then helps them right back up!

HOw many of those were in the first quarter?

CMU isn't that bad of a team. They put up 24 points on 25th ranked Boston College, and 17 points on 6th ranked Michigan. I don't know anyone that expected UK to beat CMU 45-7.

What difference does it make when they were? They still led to UK scores.

Im just saying the defense gave up after it was 28-7! I was just listening to coach Brooks and he said the same thing!
