Well, it would be surprising if the Browns win this game. They are coming off of a 1-15 season with a rookie QB in his first professional game. There are a lot of questions concerning the receiving core as well. It is a baptism by fire. I hope rookie TE Njoku is able to play. I think the Browns have a 20% chance of winning this game.

Steelers by 10. Why ? I think they`re 10 points better.

In practice today Burns and Haden where the starting corners and rookie free agent was the nickel corner Hilton.

Haden could have been starting for the Browns against the Steelers for the same money the Steelers are paying him. Browns offered him that amount earlier and he refused the pay cut. Players don't like to be asked to take a pay cut. They would rather say no and then take the same money elsewhere, because it's their choice. Sticking around after taking a big cut breeds resentment. Browns shopped him around but couldn't get any takers with his $11 Mil contract. Looks like they figured it right when they offered him $7 Mil. This is what's guaranteed with his Pittsburgh contract.

The biggest question for Haden is durability, at age 28. The last two seasons he has only played in 18 of the 32 games. The second question is diminished capacity. How much have the injuries effected his ability to play? He had double groin surgery this off-season. He was looking better than he's been in two years during the pre-season. He'll want to prove it against the Browns and on into the season for the Steelers.

The Steelers were undermanned at DB last season. Haden is a good guy and a good teammate. Whatever he has left, Pittsburgh will get all of it.

I think we need a third choice, I suggest 'Famine' for both cities. Put me in that box.

I like the Browns defense and their DC

This will be closer than expected

#1 Draft pick, Myles Garret, injured his ankle on Wednesday. Hue Jackson didn't sound optimistic about Garrett playing Sunday but we'll wait to see how the MRI turns out. He has been saying he is looking forward to taking down Big Ben.

Out 4-6 weeks.

Officially, they are saying they will reevaluate in 2 weeks. Typically they are a 4-6 week injury as MustangFan said. I hope they don't try to bring him back too early and have him re-injure it and have it last 8 weeks, or a season-long thing.

ESPN's Football Power Index gives Pittsburgh a 74% to 26% chance of winning in the match-up with Cleveland. ESPN had only one team with a better chance of winning in week 1... New England. I hope ESPN's streak holds true.
