August 27, 20179 yr Am I in the minority in thinking Bullock should be the kicker for this team? Probably. But as I mentioned if this was a true and fair competition he would win the job. I always read every day when they say how each kicker did in practice, the mock game, etc. Bullock has missed only 2 kicks the whole time. Elliot has kicked well too but has had 2 rough days. 1 for 4 one day in practice and he also missed a kick in the mock game and an extra point. So if it's a fair competition then it's Bullocks job. However since they drafted Elliot, since he has done good they will keep him even though it hasn't been as good as Bullock.

A fair competition then it's Bullocks job. With that said makes you have to question Simmons more. He is the one who wanted Elliot instead of Gonzalez who everyone regarded as the best kicker in the draft. If Gonzalez ends up being a great kicker, then it makes Simmons evaluation of kickers even worse. Especially since the Browns got Gonzalez in the 7th round.
