August 27, 20179 yr The Bulls sputtered terribly out of the gate, falling behind 16-0 and unable to do anything right in the 1st quarter. They then scored 42 straight. The defense played well, 3 picks and a forced fumble. However in the 1st quarter, the offense left them with terrible field position to defend. I'm not as confident with this new offensive scheme, compared to last season's Gulf Coast offense devised by Willie Taggart and company. This is year's O is more conventional and does not play to the strengths of their most talented player, Quinton Flowers. It was evident that Q has been instructed to limit his running plays. Even when he breaks into the secondary, he slides now. That would have never happened last year. I think they are going to lose some games because of the new O.
August 28, 20179 yr Author 50 yard TD run by D'Ernest Johnson. Watch #8 WR Tyre McCants. 2 blocks on the play. The second one was devastating.
