Scott County comes off a convincing 56-19 win over North Bullitt. The Cardinals attempted only two passes with both resulting in touchdowns against the Eagles. Scott County scored 42 points in the first quarter.

The Generals shut out Lexington foe Bryan Station 28-0. Lafayette led 7-0 at the half. They played without Head Coach Eric Shaw on the sidelines. Shaw was serving a suspension stemming from last year's state final game.

Scott County's offensive firepower versus Lafayette's stout defense. Should be a great battle.

Suspension? Never heard about this before. What happened?

Probably deserved that observation. You must know my wife....asks similar questions all the time. Now can I have my question answered?

Is this going to be a "bad blood" matchup? This game could be very interesting, and I'm sure will get chippy.

Scott County defeated North Bullitt 56-19. The Generals defeated Bryan Station 28-0. Yes, I believe this game will get chippy. I am unsure if the Lafayette head coach gets to return to the sideline this week. I searched KHSAA and Herald-Leader websites too no avail. If Mr. Shaw is not present, the Lafayette staff may have their hands full. Scott County will be intensely motivated by last season's 1-0 forfeit versus the Generals.

My understanding is that Coach Shaw will be back on the sidelines.

100% sure this game will get chippy.

Scott Co. 42-14.
