The break got me feeling a little optimistic about the 2nd half. Pitching is getting somewhat healthy. Would be happy with a split out of the break here.

Compare those rotations and tell me the Reds can beat Washington in a 5 or 7 game series. I, too, am optimistic for the 2nd half. Hopefully the starting pitching can get healthy and make some strides for next year.

Just like in Washington, Reds still can't get Goodwin out.

Adelman found out that Nats can hit fast balls down the middle. Nats 2-0.

Adelman never learned. Another fast ball down the middle that Harper hit to Kentucky. Nats 4-0.

Harper has now hit two to Kentucky. Nats 5-0. This game just about over.

Votto has struck out twice with runners on first and second. Reds have 9 outs and eight are strike outs.

That changeup from Castillo is pretty good.

Welp, I held this one together as long as I could.

Nice start to the second half.

Double nice start for the Reds.
