We have two Windows and a door we are looking to replace. Where should I start the search?

Sliding glass doors...it's a tough pill to swallow sometimes, but with the potential for outside air and moisture infiltration that a sliding glass door offers, I would always recommend going with top quality.

 

Andersen, Marvin, or Pella.

As CWB says above - go with the best for doors. We have Marvin windows and Pella doors. At the time (10 years ago) I really liked Pella doors and went with those over the Marvins.

 

Instead of a sliding door maybe look at a french doors with faux panels. We have a 3 section unit where only one door is 'operational'. The other two are static.
