I don't see how permitting only the Bible as the only elective passes the Establishment Clause of the 1st Amendment. We are going to teach our youth only from Christian text??? Much better served to have a religious humanities class to understand historical texts and their influence on cultures. Why only Christianity ' s Bible? IMO, this is a weak attempt to hold seats come election time.

I am a Christian and know a lot of stories from the bible and I've have zero desire to have taken this course in college.
