June 21, 20179 yr Author They wanted DAR as apart of a trade for a pick. DAR was a non starter. According to Zac Lowe it was two thing locker room chemisty and health. First I heard about health or injuries associated with DAR. For the record I'm not hating on him but I'm an NBA twitter junkie and DAR leaving the Lakers was a foregone conclusion this week. I just don't think they got enough. But it was about dumping Mosgov salary. :lol2: :lol2: It's really simple. Magic didn't like D'Angelo and instead of waiting for him to mature they moved him and Mozzy to unload Mozzy's contract and get rid of D'Angelo also. He had some knee issues this year and only played in 63 games this year but they were sporadic missed games and not long stretches of time. His health isn't an issue at all. That's not even close to being true. Magic made is clear over a month ago that the only person who was untouchable was Brandon Ingram. D'Angelo was their best piece to offer but I definitely agree they didn't get enough for him. If Ball is a bust, Ingram doesn't get better and PG13 and LeBron don't end up as Lakers by 2018 then folks will be calling for Magic's head. Especially if D'Angelo goes to the Nets and continues to improve like he did from his rookie season to his second season.

June 21, 20179 yr Author If PG13 does not go to the Cavs or Clips he is a Laker. I think he ends up a Laker and NBA twitter says he'll be traded before Thursday. To give up D'Angelo I'm going to need them to get PG13 and/or LeBron or Russ in 2018. Otherwise I'll be super salty. And Ingram better make a huge leap next season. If he sucks again next year then I'll be super salty about that too.

June 21, 20179 yr Author Two years in ... my "prediction" of Booker having a better NBA career than Russell is looking less outlandish. http://bluegrasspreps.com/national-basketball-association/nba-draft-lottery-304868.html I think it will be too hard to determine who has a better career. I think Booker may become an All Star before Russell but I think they will both be perennial All Stars in 4-6 years. Russell is the better all around player. Booker was in a more conducive situation. Russell has a chance to blossom and clearly become the better player while in Brooklyn. We'll see if it happens.
