Winning pitcher, Montana Fouts, helped here cause with a 2 run homer in the 3rd. However, up 3-0 in the top of the 9th, she almost let it get away from her. Woodford scored 2 runs and had the tying run on 2nd when the final at bat was thrown out at 1st.

 

East Carter plays Owensboro Catholic in the elimination round, as soon as they are ready to go.

Great win by the raiders - I'll never understand why teams would ever pitch to Fouts . Ever .

Just like to point out that by the seventh inning she had pitched 28 innings in about 24 hours. I'm sure she was worn out and neither of the 2 runs were earned.
