What the heck happened? It was 2-1, I looked away and when I looked back it was 4-1 and Rinne was out of the game.

You can't pull your goalie when you can't get the puck out of your own zone.

Pittsburgh power play with 1:39 left. They can kill the game off.

4 on 4 now and Nashville does not seem to be in any big hurry.

Pittsburgh leads the series 2-0.

 

Great game until the 3rd period. Nashville, who practically dominated the 1st 2 periods, looked completely gassed in the 3rd. Pittsburgh ran right over them and Peke Rinne.

 

The Preds cannot afford to have these bad patches against a team like the Pens. If this continues, Nashville may get their tails swept.

 

Game 3, Saturday night in Music City.

This one is going to leave a mark for the Predators. If you look at this box score, Nashville had the edge in most categories. The Penguins first goal was a classic "right place at the right time" score. I have no idea how that puck got by Rinne. The others? Not so much. He's struggling. I think what really hurt the Preds was having a 5 on 3 opportunity and coming up empty handed. Nonetheless, this series is heading to Smashville and we could have a whole different series after Game 4. I sure hope so.
