Trump's next 100 days

Have to be better than the first 100. Got next to nothing of substance passed.

Not true and that's a talking point. Congress passes legislation not the President. He rolled back tons of President Obama era EO's that hurt people and business. Dem's drew out the process of his confirming his appointee's to hinder him. The stagnation of government is on the Dem's not him. Be honest about it Mcpapa. Foreign policy is stronger in his first 100 days than it was the last 8 years. Gloat if you feel but at least be honest in the cause. Be better than the MSM.

For what it's worth the ACA repeal would have gone through with no Democrat support had the Republicans been able to stay united. The Democrats can't be given full blame for that one.

They won't help him and I don't expect them to, Democrats had a bad taste left in their mouths from the tactics that were used by our own senior senator.

Also save your time with the whole "Well the D's did it first under Bush," or whatever rebuttal because I am past caring about who started it or who is a hypocrite. We have established that the Ds have been hypocrites and that the Rs have been hypocrites, so they are on equal footing there in my mind.

Both sides have talking points, but rescinding an executive order with an executive order isn't much to brag about.

Stronger foreign policy?

We have done nothing to curb NK from missile tests, Syria is still killing its people, and ISIS is still sitting in the ME. Seems to me we are about where we were 3 months or 3 years ago.

With no more EOs to rescind even supporters will start to lose faith if POTUS Trump can't start effectively pushing legislation these next 100 days.

I agree

Okay, I didn't see that one coming.

As little as I expected from the first 100 days, I have to say the administration was even less effective than anticipated. Lot of inconsequential EO's, but very little substance. Confusion and controversy seemed to carry the day, hundreds of cabinet appointments still left unfilled, more tweets x 100 than policy initiatives, ineffectual communicating with political allies and adversaries alike, lots of diversion from real issues to nonsensical non-issues. Just a really bad first 2,400 hours.

Nope. To complain about that would be like the Falcons blaming the Patriots not helping them win the Super Bowl.

See posts 4 and 6. Ineffective at best.

Seems to me that the only folks that want to complain about stuff like "the first 100 days", "legislating from the bench", "executive orders", and the like are those that don't agree with the results. And neither side of the political aisle is exempt.
