USA Today HSS Score Predictor: Estill County 7-5

It's difficult to pick in baseball, unlike basketball. But I know that due to their location on the border between the Bluegrass and the mountain geographic regions that Estill always plays one of the more challenging schedules of any of the 14th region schools. Their record when the district/region tournaments roll around are not indicative of how strong they usually are when matching up with their own region competition. Powell County is similar in their location and schedule.

They play a lot of Bluegrass and south central schools due to it being a closer drive than most of the 14th region teams. They'd probably play more out of region but they're locked into a seeding format in the 56th and have to play those teams twice.

Pulaski won 5-0. Good win for the Maroons. They're really young this season and have scuffled so far this season.
