I'm guessing that want to avoid weather concerns. Maybe not interfere with future All A regionals.

All "A" is what I'm hearing...

 

Makes sense. Between the boys and girls, there are several All A schools in the field. With the way enrollments are decreasing in eastern Kentucky, I'd say a move to December to avoid the All A will be even more imperative moving forward.
