Estill led 20-15 at the half but Knott outscored the Engineers 30-10 in the second half.

Knott Central advances to tomorrow's championship game vs Perry Central.

Well, well, well... Knott Central vs. Perry Central again. Didn't see that coming.

That seems to be the final in the 14th Region for about the last 25 years :lol2:

Very true.

Occasionally Hazard gets in the mix but it's usually these two.

However, Knott Central went on a long dry spell, as far as winning the region, from 1994-2010. 17 years until they finally won it in 2010 under Dave Fraley, who coached 1 year before BB King took over the program.

But they dominated for several years after their consolidation in 1975, and throughout the 1980s and early 1990s.

Estill played great the first half then fell apart in the second half....

Estill should be a lot better next season with 4/5 starters returning and a solid middle school group coming in

ASB, I listened to the game on the radio. What changes at half did Knott make to overcome a 5 point halftime deficit and win by 15.

A friend of mine told me today that Knott played so many different players during the game that their defense wore down Estill. He said it appeared Estill got tired at the end.

Even at that it was a 36-30 game with about 4 min to go.

I agree that Estill should be one of the top contenders in the region next year. They return most their players.

Estill played a great first half that they needed to play for 32 minutes....Bonny couldn't get going....It also seemed like Estill started settling for 3's in the second half instead of driving, attacking and getting fouled.
