Walters has come a long way and will continue to improve that is not a question. My question is why a kid that tall isn't in double digits every game? I believe he has it in him but not the confidence to do so, yet. The moment he decides he has had enough everyone better watch out.

 

Next season should be a fun season to watch.

The kid has a major upside, let's leave it at that.

Not sure why some continue to question the play of Walter. It is still very, very early in his development. Most teenagers his size are slower to develop in many athletic aspects when compared to more average size players. It has been noted on here he is a very young junior and how much BB has the kid played? Wasn't he more of a football player in middle school and freshman yr of HS? And he is at best CCH's 5th (scoring) option, maybe 6th or 7th. It has also been mention on BGP that Walter is attracting some interest from college coaches. Nothing personal but I trust college coaches' evaluation over BGP commentators.

When I watch Walter play I see a kid that has worked his butt off, has great footwork for a 6'-10' (or however tall he is) 16 yr old. Plays with passion and 100% accepts his role. I'll take him on my team every chance I get.

 

Walter is every bit of 6'10" plus.......7'1" as announced might be a stretch. Young man as improved since last year and as slimmed down. There is no need for him to score in double digits when CJ and CVH go 14/14 from inside the arch. Once he develops confidence with a strong move with his back to the basket........look out. I agree with other on here, much upside to his game.

 

Wurtz had no points last night, but the CovCath defense had alot to do with Trey not getting touches down low. Overall, I was very impressed with Trey's game this season. Good luck to him next year on the college hardwood.

I saw Walter play and he's much farther along than I anticipated. Coaching staff doing a great job with him. And as a old coach told me once he's 6'10 and you can't teach that!
