March 7, 20179 yr Author Update: Dad had the surgery yesterday morning and all went well according to the surgeon and doctors. No surprises, ended up having 3 bypasses done and is in recovery now. In a lot of pain (he has sleep apnea so they can't give him as much pain meds as normal) and super tired, but they seem to think everything went very well and his heart and breathing are both doing good. Thank you all, I really appreciate all the positive thoughts and prayers, and I know he does as well.
