I was responding to Kidd1, not you, Volsfan. I was just saying that I do not believe that Williamsburg can keep Pineville scoreless. I agree that they are better defensively than they have been in a while, but I do not see them holding a wide open, similar to theirs, offense scoreless. Also, FF, I was just digging at you after your post to me. Folks, I still think Williamsburg wins, just not in a shutout. Sorry if I trampled on toes.:thumb:

Anyway, Volsfan, where was I busting on some kid or kids? I pointed out that McCreary scored on "Burg and that I thought that Pineville had a better O than McCreary. I also said that they had improved and never blasted anybody's kids. Never said Williamsburg was bad on D, just that Pineville would score at least once. I did get a little sarcastic on the "Iron Curtain" thing, though. The only one I dogged was FF, and I just appologized for that, and I don't think he's a kid.

Sorry I wasn't refering to you as far as busting on a kid or a team as so many do, and did not intend that you had done so. Sometimes I get cranky...lol at some of the posts I read (not necessarily yours). I have enjoyed the rivalry with Lynn Camp and think Coach Mitchell and his staff are classy guys. But you have to admit there are folks in our district who get on this site and are pretty dang obnoxious and say derogatory things about other kids.

Having played through high school, college, and a little pro, I respect the heck out of any kid who straps it on, busts their butts, and even in my book if they play on a lousy team they are sucessful. Lets face it, if it was easy everyone would do it.
