I don't think some of you guys up north watch Paris...there is no way on God's green earth that you don't have the MVP of the All A Classic Wells on your first team...if not Wells... Johnson. I believe in strength of schedule and Paris played more quality teams and ended 23-7...I may seem biased but I have 2 eyes and sometimes 4 when I wear my glasses.

Its a function of both. People up north haven't seen Paris besides December and you all haven't seen Campbell County and Scott. Those teams aren't anything to scoff at and neither is Paris/GRC. The problem with having a region this big! Tough to see everyone and have a well rounded opinion.

No us basketball fans have seen both teams you mentioned CC/Scott but I'm simply stating Paris has played more quality teams and have won bigger games and in all games Wells and or Johnson balled.

I see what you are saying. But how many times have you seen these Campbell and Scott teams play? Seen Campbell since the Paris game? Every team has improved and liking their chances right now. It makes it fun. There is some good basketball in the 37th and in the 40th...and the region's in between. We just see the ones in our areas more so we become more fond of those. Its a natural thing to have that inclination towards the teams in our areas.

 

BTW, I've seen Paris play several times this year and would include Wells and Johnson in top players easy. Have you seen Ohmer, Bertsch, and Hegyi? They are playing good ball as well. With only five spots some good players going to be left out. And I haven't even mentioned Crawford and Allen. It is a fun region to follow. The Region Tournament will answer a lot of questions. Will be fun.

I've seen every player play...3 of those players have a lime green light...2 of those players teams aren't real good...1 of the players team is a contender...Two kids from Campbell are on par with Wells and Johnson.

Not too impressive... Our top 5 is Mercer...GRC(2)...LCA...Fayette, Ga 6'8 D1 player...Henry Clay...Newport Central Catholic...out of those teams GRC played us the closest...other games were by double digits...with no player taller than 6'3 Wells..I give Campbell credit for beating Paris' football team early in the season.
