Whats your breakdown of this contest oneijoe? What does Pburg need to do to beat SC?

Offensively, Prestonsburg's best chance is in emphasizing the passing game and running effectively when SC looks for the pass. Hughes throws an accurate and very catchable ball. The receivers are getting better, week to week, in catching and holding on to the ball.

On defense, Prestonsburg MUST force Sheldon Clark to drive the field. Breakout runs will break the Cat's back (a pun?). I don't believe P-burg's defensive front is strong enough to neutralize SC's power game, but hopefully, it's quick enough to keep yds/rush down.

Obviously, I'm not saying anything profound here. The more plays an offense has to execute on a given drive, the better the chance a mistake (penalty, turnover, def. stop) will halt it. This is always a key in playing a power running team...

The series is lead by the Cards 3 wins to 2 from 2000 to present (they didn't play in 2002).

Did prestonsburg win the 2003 game?

I think this will be a dandy of a game! I think the Blackcats have a shot at beating the Cardinals!

Did prestonsburg win the 2003 game?

Nope... That was a SC upset 28 - 22 (in OT) at Inez.

Will the rainy field tonight effect Sc or P-burg?

P-burg's field will look like dewey lake if the rain keeps up. The field was rained on monday night during a jv game, it held up decent, but the rain was nothing like it is today.

The only time i can remember Pburg winning was 2001. This has been driving my nuts all day. When was the other win?
