Anybody have any details on this one. I passed a lineman getting off the bus today as I was leaving my son's game and asked who won, he just said they lost to Scott Co JV.

Don't have any details but I heard the score was Scott 20 - Highlands 6

What is Highlands JV's record so far this year?

Scott Co.

Scott Co. was very big along with two very fast backs. The Birds played as well as they could have. Seemed a little flat. Might have to do with early wake up along with bus ride. The cow pasture didn't help either. Was told by some Scott Countians that that was the Varsity field. I think football getting the short end of it at SC.

Clint Crawford had some nice runs. Got to love that screen pass we run. Great blocking with speed gets em everytime. Good to see Terry O'Brian is alright. Nice catch and run down to the 2 inch line. For the life of me, when it's 1st down from 2 inches out, why have the QB be forced to turn around and try to hand the ball off to a back that is 7 yards deep. SC had the same situation and the QB just went up and bumped his center, snap, TD. Ours, turnover. Oh well, JV is where you learn from your mistakes and get better for Varsity. HHS JV has a brutal rest of schedule. Boyle Cty, Trinity x 2, LexCath, and finish with CovCath. Has to be one of the toughest schedules in the stae for JV. WOW!!! Good luck Birds!!!

The HHS JV played the complete 2nd half of last nights varsity game. That would probably be the main cotributor to any kind of a let down on their part. Playing 6 quarters of football in an 18 hour period has got to be tough. Get em next week JV Birds!

That was the Scott Co practice field. Don't know who made that one up. Scott Co plays at the Toyota Stadium was formely the Rawlings Stadium. Very nice place to play. If its good enough for the Bengals its good enough for Georgetown College and Scott Co High School.

Why was JV kept off that field?

Why was JV kept off that field?

I beleive Georgetown was playing there today at 1.

That would be a good reason.
