February 10, 20179 yr Every night of the All State Choir conference at about 11pm, all of the high school singers taking part in the KMEA conference come out to the balconies of the 18 story Hyatt hotel in Louisville to sing the Star-Spangled Banner. I heard about this for the first time today from a co-worker, so I decided to take my new camera down to the hotel this evening to record the event. (My apologies for the crappy camera work - particularly around the 2 minute mark.) Enjoy the song. No sheet music, no lyrics to read from...just our high school kids singing what they know. This is a true credit to the choir singers in our Kentucky high schools.
