Trump White House staffers have active private RNC emails

Featured Replies

2 days into a new administration - and the expectation is that everyone has their official government email set-up? If one works in IT they know IDs for systems for one person can take a few days in normal process. Here, hundreds need new IDs. Logistically, this has to take some time.

None of this would excuse security exposure or use of emails that should not be used for government business on ongoing basis. Two wrongs do not make anything right.

But its only was 2 working days into a new administration.

The staffers named aren't new. Could've been setup in advance. Probably were I'd guess.

Someone starts at my company their ID is typically ready on day 1 as the setup was done in advance.

Your company is pretty efficient. Efficient...government...there is an oxymoron...:)

But they do need to get done asap. Obviously, emails will be one of the gotchas the media will focus on and confidential information needs to be inside the .gov domain only.

I have multiple private email accounts. I never use any of them to conduct government business and the first time I moved a classified document from the secure network to any of my personal accounts or to an unsecured government server would be my last.

If any of Trump's staff is stupid enough or corrupt enough to follow Hillary's example, I will be squarely behind the effort to prosecute them to the full extent of the law.

Liberals are trying way too hard to draw parallels between the unprecedented misbehavior of Hillary and somebody, anybody in Trump's administration.

I don't know any federal employee or contractor who does not have a private email account but that was not the issue with what Hillary did.
