Agree. I love that our stat keeper posts after every game, rebounds, assists, and steals. We had a player the other night that only had 6 points but it was the other things that he did that won the game for us. Can't stand to just see a player evaluated by just points.

One stat that is big at a certain school is 'charges taken' . Foul on the opposing team and change of possession.

I believe that is a problem for one of the tenth region schools. Their defense does not want to "draw" the charge.

The KHSAA scoreboard only has a place to keep points (and the various ways you get them) and rebounds. I'm guessing someone just looked through that list and took the scoring numbers listed there. If you'd like you could easily do the same with rebounds.

 

It's a shame, but it is often very hard to find stats on steals, assists, blocks, etc.
