Over the past 10 years:

 

- 54 Programs have went to more than one Semi-Final, 37 of those 53 are programs who have only 1 or less coaching moves.

 

- 240 teams have reached the Semi-Finals (24 per year X 10): 170 of those 240 teams have been from programs with less than one coaching move.

 

-22 Programs have reached 4 or more Semi's in this stretch of time.... 18 of those programs have had one or less coaching moves.

 

-The 4 outliers? Tilghman, NewCath, Fort Campbell, and LCA. Fort Campbell:

 

Fort Campbell had all their appearances under Shawn Berner.

Tilghman had 3 of their 4 under Randy Wyatt, LCA had 3 of their 4 under Paul Rains, NewCath has had the misfortune of success as their Head Coaches primarily have left due to being hired away.

Definitely an interesting look at the state as a whole, awesome job!

What an awesome thread. I find it amazing that Highlands won 51 more games than CovCath did in the same period. Wonder if there is a larger disparity between the top 2 teams in the same district in the State. Take away the "downfall" of the Birds and they are probably #1 in the State. @BFritz anything?

I've expanded on my spread-sheet with some more information.

 

I compiled a complete list of every teams win differential, which in this case I'm using simply as the difference between a teams best season and worst season over the last decade. One thing I noticed would be that there isn't an "elite" team until you get to 5 games. And I think it just goes to show that a single down year doesn't define a program or a coach, because almost every team on this list had a "down" year in some capacity. The only exception being the teams that never had a good year.
