Oh it fell a bit but hardly anything worth getting excited about. If you're looking at a one-day stock history (which CNN probalby used) then the quick inital drop will look more precipitous than it really is. Any investor that sells based off a Tweet by President Trump is a bad investor.
January 5, 20179 yr For non-investors here's an example: Headline says Toyota stock "tanked" today as a result of the tweet. It's currently down about 0.5%. My ADP stock is down 0.7% (and I'm not worried about it).
