Free throw shooting looked a little better for Conner. Mason County couldn't miss from anywhere. They work like a well oiled machine.

I'd like to think that Conner is too talented to lose like this. Their core is young. Sounds like this one got away from them.

This may prove to be the case - this year's and next year's results will certainly be telling.

 

Conner has talent. Whether that talent can be optimized - through development and scheme - is the question that remains to be answered.

 

From what I've seen - Conner is one of the more predictable teams - offensively and defensively - in the region. They can bully teams of lesser talent but struggle in 4 quarter, one possession-at-a-time games.

 

Their next game against Ryle will be a good measuring stick as to whether they are growing and ready to take the next step in the region. I KNOW Ryle is improving - is Conner?
