Jeff Driskell Active Today for Bengals

Featured Replies

Now this is interesting. Pretty good bet AD or AJ is injured in some way. AD has sat out a few practices this year with a sore shoulder. Although last week he threw better thane has all season. Just speculating but why else we they activate him.

...or he played special teams for 49ers in Pre season

Well he is healthy.....

Wide receiver A.J. Green (hamstring), safety Derron Smith (thigh), wide receiver James Wright (knee), tight end C.J. Uzomah (calf), defensive end Wallace Gilberry (calf) were ruled out Friday. Long snapper Clark Harris (groin), who was questionable, also is inactive.

Harris is only the second Bengals player to be inactive after being listed as questionable this season. The other was Wright in the Giants game Nov. 14.

The only healthy scratch today is rookie offensive lineman Christian Westerman, who will be inactive for the 13th consecutive game.

Reading to much into this, he is only active due to other guys being out. They only have 53 players on the roster, and 6 of those 53 are out with injuries today. So it was between him or the rookie Guard who has been inactive all season. So they probably wanted to at least give Driskell some real game sideline action today, to be involved on head sets and see what in game adjustments they make.
