November 29, 20169 yr Parts of Kentucky could see strong to severe storms this evening. Damaging winds, hail and tornadoes are possible. I will update as soon as I can. I just wanted to get this information out. The area of main concern seems to be sandwiched between I-65 and I-75 with the northern edge around the Lexington area.
November 29, 20169 yr Author This looks like it could be an overnight event. The strongest storms look to reach the southcentral part of Kentucky around 1 am ET. This is from around the Bowling Green area to about Somerset. Then about 2 am this area of possible storms should increase to cover areas from around Bowling Green to Mt. Vernon, Corbin and then start extending into SEKY by about 3 am ET. I will update later this evening. The main threats are: Isolated tornadoes Damaging Winds Heavy Downpours Lightning 1 am ET 2 am ET 3 am ET
November 29, 20169 yr Author Hope that water dumps on our friends in the smokies. According to the HRRR QPF totals, some parts of eastern Tennessee could see upwards to around 5" of rain by 7 am ET tomorrow morning.
