That is confusing to read and watch.

 

But it seems that the game clock should have been wistled in after some of those plays.

 

Once a penalty is assessed or declined the game clock should return to running if the last play was an inbounds run (kneel down), etc.

No play ever gets executed, the last play was an interception change of possession so the clock never runs. Looks like every play the defense was trying to swipe the ball out during the snap and finally got a legal hand on it after 5 or 6 tries and ended up with the recovery.

Just proof that many officials should never be allowed to call another game. I've seen some horrible officiating this year in NKY. Many of these officials are a joke.

Wasn't a legal hand on the ball. They were lined up in the neutral zone or offsides every play. Horrible officiating

i sat here and replayed this with wife watching. Seems the backjudge is just plain crooked based on the interference and holding/offsides call on the first FG attempt by Goddard. The question is how does one legally 'swipe' the ball from a center before the snap without there being either a procedure call (on offense) or encroachment (on defense).

I think they are trying to time the swipe to happen during the snap, not before. Every time they swiped early it was an offside penalty, at least that's what I was able to make out of it.

It's pretty much understood you cannot legally swipe the ball from the center. In college and above there are written rules. FED takes the stance that it cannot happen physically. These two schools have a lot of bad blood and the team swiping has a certain reputation

That was CLEARLY a case of bad officiating. On the offsides on the field goal attempt, how does the official behind the defense call offsides?????

 

Did anything come off this from the state athletic association?????? Curious if there was anything done to this crew.

Wow, that's really horrible, the losing team and coaches showed more class than I think I would have after having that game stolen.
