For those that hope he governs towards the middle what can they hold onto as a sign that he will?

I would say the talk of the infrastructure bill is showing an olive branch to the left. There are a lot of budget hawks like me who don't like it.

 

I don't know what moderate means anymore. If you actually look at policy every president of my lifetime up until our current president was able to pass major legislation with the help of the other party. I think with Trump and Schumers exisiting relationship we will see a return to some bipartisian work in the Senate.

I like that anyone on his administration is banned for 5 years after they leave from lobbying and a lifetime ban from lobbying for a foreign country.
