November 11, 20169 yr One of the ideas Trump ran on was he isn't beholden to anyone or anything. That is only something a billionaire can do, but will he take on Citizens United and campaign financing and try to change the pay to play that occurs in Washington? I would support that. :bag:
November 11, 20169 yr I do not expect Trump to play the campaign finance "reform" scam. If he does, I will be very disappointed. Politicians support campaign finance reform for one reason - to disadvantage challengers to their power. Trump demonstrated once again that there is a limit to the extent to which a huge financial advantage can buy an election for a horrible candidate. Hillary Clinton was a very bad candidate who outspent Trump, who was also a bad candidate, by a wide margin and still lost.
November 11, 20169 yr Trumps tweets were better advertisement than Hillarys $$$$. Proven. When one is spending their own money they tend to watch it a little more careful. Its really amazing how his campaign was ran with the $$$. That was another first. There was nothing traditional about his campaign and others should take note.
November 11, 20169 yr Tracking the 216 Presidential Money Race: Clinton v Trump Wow! I guess it just shows that money can buy you love but it can't buy you an election.
