The last time these two met was in the 2015 regional championship at Covington Scott. The final play of the game gave Johnson Central the win as a hobbled Bryce Workman found Geordan Blanton in the back of the endzone as time expired.

What do you think happens tonight?

Won't be anything like last year. Johnson Central with a running clock.

Seems like too much turmoil in the Scott ranks.

JC is better than last year by a pretty heavy clip.

JC 42

Scott 7

Can I ask a dumb question that has no impact on the game? Why is Scott referred to as "Covington Scott"? They are in Taylor Mill, not Covington. They are in the Kenton School District, not Covington. But as far back as I can remember people referred to them as Covington Scott.

I've wondered the same thing and asked the same question many times. No one in that area ever refers to the school as "Covington" Scott. It's just Scott High.
