What are your thoughts on the final Bluegrasspreps Class 3A rankings for 2016? Will Belfry go all the way after dominating the regular season rankings? Is Corbin capable of beating the Pirates? Is anyone else? Is Russell the surprise of the class for 2016? Who will win it all? Who will surprise us in the playoffs?

...Anyone who thinks another team will beat Belfry in the playoffs has got another think coming!!....The Pirates ball-control,'all-run' ground game combined with a stingy

defense will humble every team that gets in the way!!!....Does anyone know how many passes Belfry threw during the entire season?

Corbett was 12/21, 291 yards, 7TD, 0 INT's

So 21 passes during the regular season a third of those were TD's

Another interesting stat, no Belfry back averages 10 carries or more per game. If you take Andrew Fletcher and his 85 carries away as the starting FB noone even averages over 8 carries per game! That is the definition of backfield by committee.

Belfry always spreads it around, but it usually doesn't go anywhere near that deep. No back has over 600 yards rushing even though they have rushed for over 3500 yards as a team.

7 backs have rushed for between 243 and 545 yards on the year. 545, 505, 495, 430, 384, 253, 243

Another 6 backs have carries and added on 295 combined yards.

I wouldn't count out Corbin. I would love and was planning on going to that game on Nov 25 (if it happened) but unfortunately I couldn't get off work

I'll be honest with you, Corbin scares me and if Belfry makes it there to play them in the semifinals, I think the Redhounds may knock them off. They match up better with Belfry than anyone else in 3A.

I was willing to go to either place, Belfry or Corbin to watch that game if it happened but my boss wouldn't let me off.
