Aug 2017 Grid dates and week one dates:Are these correct

Featured Replies

I believe that the Grid games(With Raceland/Greenup and others) will be on Aug 11&12 with week 0 being the 17&18th?

I ask because I like having my request days in up at work, as soon as they put up the new calendar.

Thanks for the help.:thumb:

Will likely be unofficially set Tuesday I would guess. I think that's the EKC meeting.

NC, I love your passion for High School Football! Anyone thinking that far out is impressive to me!!!

Thanks. Some get on me about having no life, but for me this life works well.

Yes, I get a little of that too.

But, life is what you make of it and the pursuit of happiness is really what it's all about right. And if this makes you happy it doesn't matter about anyone else!

So true.

I believe the bowl games have new teams this season, so I am looking so forward to seeing the new schedules.

I know I am doing the Pike County Bowl for sure and will wait on picking the other 3 until the schedules are out.

If you ever make a BG game let me know!!!

Life is what you make it. Far too many that get on you, or me, about it probably don't get to do what they want and enjoy what they get to do. So, they try to knock down people who do get to do what they love to do.

I'm already looking forward to 2017 early games in TN and KY. I like the Stanford "Death Valley Bowl" games on Friday, but would like to see what other games there are out there.

So far been to Rafferty's (Bowling Green), Barren/Glasgow Bowl, Death Valley (Stanford), Ray Correll (Somerset), Roy Kidd (Richmond), Pike County (Belfry and Pikeville), Montgomery Co Rec (Mt. Sterling), Fort Harrod (Harrodsburg), and VisitNich.com (EJ & WJ).

Rafferty's is a at WKU, so it's a great venue to see a game. Might try the Forcht Bank Bowl if they're doing the four games in two days again. Just depends. Having a 1-year-old by that time dictates certain requirements in games I'll be going to (i.e., one where I won't fear my daughter falling through the stands lol).
