NewCath senior, Kathryn Schreiber, has accepted an athletic scholarship offer to play for NAIA Cincinnati Christian University. The speedy Breds centerfielder hit .345 last season (40/116) as a junior for NewCath. While roaming the outfield she had 31 putouts and 3 assist and in one game at shortstop had 6 assist and 3 putouts. The past two summers she has played for the Cincy Ice. Last season "Kat" emerged as one of the best defensive centerfielders in NKY.
