My concern is that NFL players play for teams that must share TV revenue with every other team in the league. That wasn't part of this valuation, if I'm reading it correctly. The Longhorn Network is definitely more lucrative that I had thought...and it will end up killing the Big 12.

That is also the reason they don't want to expand. More revenue sharing.
October 20, 20169 yr But women's sports...... I wish they value the value of that. I agree. It's not the same as pro sports and the money going to the players on one team. This money is divided between the players on every team at the school. What would the valuation per person be then? Most schools lose money on athletics.
