Good win Royals who are 2-1 on the year.This is always a tough road game to get .Mason jumped out 15-0 and 22-6 at half before Flemings Defense steped it up .Up next another road game 3 out 4 on the road to start the year for the Royals at Morgan County.

This is a good win for the royals. It seems to help in a little momentum for the road. Sounds like they are starting to get some confidence in their offense. Great Job, Royals!!!

Two quick TD passes from Cox to Browning and Miller got the Royals out to an early lead. Fleming's playbook got real condensed after that, running their tailback about 85% of the time after the first quarter. Fleming managed to keep the game interesting but ran out of gas at the very end.

 

Fairly small crowd for Fleming's home opener, maybe the holiday weekend or the weather kept folks away; didn't seem to be the usual enthusiastic Panther faithful at this one.

 

Browning's one-handed catch to end the first half was worthy of any high school highlight reel!

I agree i was very disappointed in the Panthers fans i thought we out numbered them 2-1.

I said in the prediction thread 21-13 mason i was awful close.

Congrats to Mason Co. on the win. Looks like Mason may have something to say about the way the district unfolds.

I said 28-0 and it sure looked close at the start but Fleming stepped it up and held us to only 22 gosh but it was a good game and even more important a huge step in the right direction for the Royals. Lets go get Morgan!

Not even close to 2 to 1. You have to take inot consideration the stands on the Home side are much larger and the fans are spread out. I was on Mason side a there 5 sets of bleachers with abouut six rows. The rain and sudden drop in temp was the major factor.

My mistake on saying that Browning had a TD reception; I believe he had one called back; Miller caught both early TDs, Browning caught the 2-pt. conversion pass.
