DragonFire Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 In a slate of yawners in the top 10 this week, this game easily stands above the rest. Shelby County has once again righted the ship after a distressing loss, jumping all over Franklin County and North Oldham after a loss to Bullitt East. This week they get Spencer County, themselves coming off an almost inexplicable loss to Franklin County. The Bears had won six straight, but lost by two TDs to a Franklin County team that entered that game 2-5. Spencer County seems to have a defensive achilles heel, allowing over 27 points in a game five out of their eight games. The Rockets average over 42 PPG. There should be some offensive fireworks - who comes out on top in a crucial District 4 game?
Tommy2tone Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Huge game for district 4 and it is at Spencer. Going to give Shelby the edge simply for the fact Shelby can score some points and coach Shipley IMO knows how to slow down the Wing T. Shelby has huge advantage in kicking game but Spencer pulls about as many trick plays in their kicking game to try and take that advantage away.

Tommy2tone Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Way too much football to be played hoss. This game has so much to do in the standings.
groundattack Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Spencer will bounce back this will be a huge night for their program. Don't know how it will play out but they will put forth a great, inspired effort! Spencer wins they have their first district title, they lose they could be a 4 seed. If Shelby wins they will play @ Collins for the district title the following week. I would venture a guess they will will have a packed house in Tville Friday night.
FC Flyer Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 After seeing first hand both teams playing I would have to give the advantage in this ball game to Shelby County! Shelby County's defense in my opinion is the difference in this game. It will be a hard hitting game and it will be a good game to watch as a fan.
Tommy2tone Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Shelbys D must play inspired like the did against Frankln.
