Big matchup with #2 Male facing #7 St. Xavier, what are we expecting from that game? What other games should we be watching closely? Who could move up this coming week? Who could move down? What teams are close to moving in to the Top 10?

In Jefferson County, I'd put PRP ahead of Ballard. Well find out Friday if the Panthers should be ahead of Manual as well.

What is Conners best win?

Conner should be ranked where Cooper is. Cooper has 3 loses.

Probably beating the Camels 44 to 0.

Chuckle, well to dredge up something from the last thread...

St. X won by two scores. I stand by my statement that they should be ranked higher than Lafayette.

The Ranking Committee must see it a little differently.

So we are saying that if the first 6 weeks X's schedule was:

@ Scott Co.

SK

@ Lafayette

Trinity @ PJCS

Male

@ Ryle

then X would be 0-6? I don't think so.

I think so.

X would probably average going 3-3 in that stretch, and would have a much better chance of being 5-1 than they would have of being 0-6. No way they lose to Lafayette or Ryle, and history tells us that the NKY teams don't exactly have an easy time with the Tigers (or T or X or even Manual, Ballard, PRP, etc.) when the games count.

I definitely think St. X would beat Lafayette. After seeing both teams play Trinity, Lafayette is nowhere close. Outside of Trinity (who running clocked them) and Scott County (who lost by forfeit) their games have been against soft teams.

Against SK, Ryle, and Scott County, I'd give St. X about 50/50 odds, and expect them to win at least one of those three.

As were all their playoff wins last year too. :walk:
