October 3, 201610 yr The winner of the Week #5 contest is NKY_YouthCoach, who earned a score of 15. A tiebreaker was necessary this week, as a whopping 5 contestants finished with 15 points: NKY_YouthCoach, RondoRules, littleluck55, Big Slick, & jahearme. The total amount of points scored in the 5-point Super Game was 78 (42-36 Clemson over Louisville). NKYC's guess guess of 80 points was closer than the other 4 (Rondo - 69, littleluck55 - 64, Slickster - 60, & jahearme - 56). As always the contest is not final for 24 hrs. All contestants have 24 hours to report any errors. Once it is final, the winner should consult the contest thread to claim their prize: Contest Prizes - Sponsored by the SPORTS Shop. Clemson def. Congrats to NKY_YouthCoach for pulling out the victory via the tiebreaker. * For the second week in a row, littleluck55 has lived up to his name. Twice he's finished in a tie for first & twice has come up short in the tiebreaker. Even worse, littleluck (along with Big Slick) correctly picked 9 out of 10 games. Unfortunately for them, they both picked Iowa to win & both gave that game a 3-point value. * El plantman couldn't have made me happier this week with his amazing score of 2. * Can'tcoach registered his third straight week with a double-digit score. That hasn't happened since the Eisenhower administration. He even got the Notre Dame game right. :scared: * Two weeks in a row MJ finishes with an 8. Of course, PP92 narrowly nipped him with his score of 9. MJ still leads PP in the Overall Season Standings 50-39. * Opening up a 4-point lead in the Overall Season Standings is coldweatherfan, who is perched at the top with 63 points. SLINK, UKMF, & NCF are in a 3-way tie for 2nd with 59 points. PP92 is losing to just about everybody. We here at the College Football Pick 10 Contest are thinking about lumping him in with Can'tcoach & plantman, but the jury's still out on that for now.
