Sir!
Per Riherds. KY#1 Collegiate over KY#30 Lexington Christian. In their 7 game All "A" title run: - 63 goals scored - average 9 goals per game - 5 mercy rule games - only 1 goal conceded (in final) Wow! Has a team ever won the All "A" this convincingly before? gameplayedright
Taking nothing away from Collegiate but the ALL A qt finals teams were far from powerhouses. Maher ranking and Strength of Schedule behind each of the 8 teams in the qt finals, including Collegiate. Collegiate #1 SoS 215 Lex Christian #30 SoS 186 NCC #38 SoS 118 Murray #59 SoS 417 Oneida #77 SoS 164 Pikeville #113 SoS 753 Holy Cross (L) #143 SoS 606 Clinton Co #164 SoS 744 Average #78.125 SoS 455.
Never offsides
So unfamiliar with the "All A." Is this a big thing to those schools who participate or is it just an overlooked tradition that they're forced to play in? I only ask because the competition does not seem to be of value. Anytime you win a tournament comprising roughly 50 percent of the teams in the state, you celebrate. If Kentucky isn't going to classify soccer, this is a nice feather in the cap for small schools. The All A Champ may very well be the state champ this year. Wonder if this has ever been done in any sport? I don't know the answer.

bothways
There you go....Thanks, Mexitucky ! It basically happened on the girls side of soccer a few years ago. While St Henry was the big school state champ, Lex Christian was the runner up. Roles were reversed for the all A championship.

Quite an accomplishment for any small school regardless the sport.
