September 13, 201610 yr Author I assume there will be live music at the festival? We didn't realize the festival was this weekend & planned to spend Saturday on the Bourbon Trail. I'm lobbying to pick a new date, but I suspect we will venture down anyway. I just hope it's not too crowded everywhere. It's gonna be crowded everywhere. There is live music, with a mix of local, regional and national bands. Exile is the Saturday night headliner, but on the undercard is the excellent local act Big Black Cadillac. Not to be missed. They managed to get DC-based indie-folk act Vandaveer to headline Friday night. They've toured the country extensively and have 5 albums since 2007. Mark Heidinger, the brainchild of the act, has roots in the Lexington music scene.

September 17, 201610 yr Author I spent most of yesterday getting pictures of Bill Murray sent to me from friends. I knew I should've went... I was hoping somebody was going to tell me he went full-on Nick The Lounge Singer when he was singing for the folks over at the Harrison-Smith House. Heard he got really, really lubed up when spending the early part of the day on a VIP tour at Willett Distillery.
