As we've talked about numerous times this year, Class 3A has struggled as a unit to get wins against quality opponents. This week marks another opportunity for the ranked in 3A to pick up meaningful victories. Seven teams in the top ten are on the road for games that could prove difficult. Which ranked teams do you think will win Friday?

 

I am not including #6 Caldwell County vs. Crittenden County, #9 Bardstown vs. Nelson County, and #10 Waggener vs. Shawnee because the Class 3A teams are such prohibitive favorites in each game

I only see one I feel comfortable with... Belfry

 

I think Russell, Garrard, and Boyle all have a legit chance in a toss-up game.

 

Corbin and LexCath I see as slight underdogs

 

Central I see as a heavy dog.

I voted for Belfry, Boyle, and Russell because they're the only teams I see winning straight up. Admittedly, I'm a little concerned about the possible return of some significant difference makers for Ashland, but I think Russell's offense breaks out this week.

 

I think LexCath/CovCath, Corbin/Danville, and Garrard/Rockcastle are legit toss-up games.

 

Central loses to X, IMO.

I felt really confident picking Belfry.

 

 

I felt decently confident picking Boyle.

 

 

I talked myself into picking Lex. Cath.

 

 

Although, I can see any of them winning, except for Central. It's the only one I would be surprised if they won.
