Keith Hernandez says the Reds today played....................

at one point yesterday after the 3rd inning I think, the Mets had given up 5 hits and 4 walks and the Reds had not scored. They had (3) guys thrown out on bases. Mets were like 55 of 60 in allowing guys to steal, only had caught like 5 all year, got the Reds 3 times in 3 innings

Schebler tried to steal 2nd base and simply stopped running just before he got to the base and was thrown out.

That Schebler play wanted me to yank him out of the game right there. Same for Peraza.

Don't forget the Reds pitcher forgot to cover Home on a pitch that got away from the catcher so he had no one to throw the ball to when the runner on 3rd broke for Home.
