Anyone with the pairings/bracket?

 

As of now; Corbin, Estill County, Franklin County, Knox Central and Whitley County are all participating in this.

They usually have a couple of out of state teams in this too.

DECEMBER 27TH:

6:30 pm - Barbourville vs. Estill County

7:15 PM - Franklin County vs. Corbin

 

8:15 PM - Knox Central vs. Whitley County

9:15 PM - Daniel vs. Freedom

 

 

Losers of Game 1 and 2 play December 28th @ 5 PM....Also, Losers of game 3 and 4 play 5 PM on the 28th as well.

 

Semi-Finals will be December 29th at 7 and 9:30 PM.

 

Winners of Game 3 and 6 (Losers of 1 & 2 and 3 & 4) will play in 4th place game at 5:45 on December 30th.

 

Loser of game 3 and 6 will play at 4 PM on December 30th for 7th place.

 

3rd place will be at 7:00 PM on December 30th

 

Championship will be at 9:15 PM on December 30th.

Have no idea who Daniel nor Freedom are or where they are from.

D. W. Daniel High School, is in SC. A little history tidbit this is the High School " The Pistol" Pete Maravich played at while his dad was coaching men's basketball at Clemson.

 

Freedom High School is in Woodbridge, VA Their Boys basketball team has won their region the last 3 years.

Looking at Freedoms schedule and results. I'm assuming Knox Central won fairly easy?

Freedom High School is in Woodbridge, VA Their Boys basketball team has won their region the last 3 years.

 

The history may be good but the present Freedom team was sporting a 1-12 record rolling into corbin. The Falls tourney has had many outstanding teams in the past and been one of the best holiday tourneys in southeastern ky. This year, not so much. Hopefully they will look to bring in much stronger competition next year.
