Conner, in a blow out.

Could a possible wet & sloppy field keep Scott in this one?

I hate it for Scott that they just can't sustain anything from year to year. They had a good run from 2013-2014 but that was about it in their long history.

I hate it for the school and fans and players that they can't get the players to keep them competitive year in and year out. I hope it changes soon.

Couldn't agree with you more. Sad thing is that there are players now that opt for open enrollment a few miles to the south that spend 4 years holding their helmets on the sideline that would start and likely even play both ways if they attended Scott. With as few as 10 players each year making the switch they would consistently be a 4a powerhouse. Unfortunately with open enrollment unless something radical happens this will be the trend. Scott gets a bad rap

That makes sense. Boone County has closed enrollment which will prohibit ever having a state powerhouse for a long period of time. Kenton has open enrollment which allows Simon Kenton to get players that would otherwise attend other schools such as Scott etc.
