13 or 14 goals in 20 minutes....

No-one is arguing you shouldn't finish a game in one half if it is a complete mismatch. All that was raised is the manner in which you do it. Some would put in the ten goals required to end the game and others might allow their team to score more. All up to coaching style and objectives. Sorry if I offended anyone. Peace out.

Nvm.

As a parent of a goalie, this is somewhat offensive. I will assume you have not had a kid play on the losing end of this or you wouldn't put down the goalie like that. To be fair my daughter has not been on that end, but I can tell you how it goes down having watched it first hand. Team A elite club players, Team B mostly rec players maybe a couple of kids who have played some low level club along the way. Goalie probably not a high level club player if a club player at all. In my daughter's case a long time rec player. The poor goalies get blasted as the defense around them gets chewed up and spit out. The ball is on their side the entire game. As previously discussed ad nauseum not a good situation all around, but to degrade the poor kid doing their best at goalie is probably not the best explanation.

Ah, a soccer thread I look forward to reading. :lol2:
