With a scrimmage against a 6-A team, 2 games against 5-A schools, 4 games against 6-A schools, and CAL, the Colts expected to have a tough regular season. It now looks considerably tougher. Here is some of what the Colts still have ahead of them.

 

1. Ballard - lost to Male, but only by 18. They appear to be greatly improved.

2. Fern Creek - lost 14-0 to Manual, but that will still be a tough test.

3. North Hardin - that game looks MUCH tougher now than it did two weeks ago.

4. CAL - that one is ALWAYS a battle.

 

By playoff time, it should be pretty clear whether the Colts are contenders or pretenders in 2016.

Stay healthy and GET healthy - we're still playing without a starting RB from last season. That should help also.

I expect DeSales to be right there

We just need to keep improving each game. Ballard is going to be a tough one. I won't be shocked if we drop that one. I can see a low scoring battle. Just like Butler they have improved over last season.

We've pitched shutouts in the scrimmage and the first two games, but I expect that to end Friday. I'm not sure our offense is polished enough yet to put more than two TDs on the board against a team like Ballard. I think the team that finds a way to get a third score wins this one 21-14.
